In a solidarity action with protests on the opening day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Sacramento DSA is leading a teach-in outside the offices of the state party, 1830 9th St. (at S St.), on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, 5-7 p.m. Speakers from various local groups will offer educational talks about Palestine, Gaza and U.S. administration/congressional complicity in Israeli war crimes. There will be open mic opportunity. It’s also part of a nationwide wave of actions titled “Not Another Bomb,” calling for an arms embargo.
