The hearing starts at 8:30am. SB1287 is 16th on the list, but it is hard to tell how quickly or slowly the bills before it will go, and often the order changes without notice. We think it would be meaningful to get a lot of people to give a “me too” at the hearing to show wide opposition to the bill. This just means lining up at the microphone when they ask for other people opposed and saying your name, your affiliation (if you have one) and that you are opposed. Note that the hearing is livestreamed and recorded, so your “me too” will be part of the recording.
