♦ Christian nationalism holds that the Christian Bible is God’s infallible law, should be the basis of government, and have primacy over public and private institutions. Its misogynistic, patriarchal view does not recognize gender equality, trans or LGBQAI+ rights and sanctions discrimination based on religious beliefs.
Trump has put Christian nationalists in key positions, facilitating attacks on free speech and dismantling government institutions.1 Project 2025 calls for turning the United States into a Christian nationalist state.2 Christian nationalists make up over half of Trump’s base according to a 2024 PPRI Pole.3

♦ Christian Zionism is broadly understood as the belief that the Jewish people have a need to return to Israel. This return signals the biblically prophesied “End Times” during which Jesus will come back and take true believers to heaven. Everyone else goes to hell, including Jews who do not convert to Christianity. Christian Zionism is therefore inherently anti-Jewish.4
